Customization applies to our exotic leather pieces. You choose the patina colour from the full spectrum, and the hardware finish on request. Everything is then executed by hand by Mr. Dapper in his atelier.

Because the patina is applied by hand, no two pieces come out the same. That is not a flaw in the process — it is the process.

Niloticus crocodile is listed under CITES, the international convention regulating trade in protected species. Our exotic leather is sourced by our atelier partner through this framework, and the required documentation accompanies each piece.

Every limited piece carries a mark of its edition — the form varies with the piece.

Exotic leather pieces are delivered with an official Mr. Dapper × DÉCIDEUR certificate of authenticity and are covered by a Swiss quality warranty. They are handcrafted and patina-finished by Mr. Dapper in his atelier in Lucerne — one craftsman, one pair of hands, start to finish.

Leather evolves with time. Proper care keeps its structure and depth.

Leather goods. Store away from direct sunlight and heat. Wipe with a dry, soft cloth after use. Where a care set is included, apply the cream sparingly two to three times a year and finish with the polishing cloth. Avoid prolonged exposure to water; if the leather gets wet, let it dry naturally at room temperature — never with a heat source. Do not use solvents or alcohol-based cleaners.

Garments with leather details. Professional leather cleaning only. Do not machine wash.

Manufacturing defects are covered by statutory warranty. If something is wrong with your piece, write to contact@decideurclothing.com with photos and we will look at it.

Damage resulting from use, wear or care that departs from the instructions is not covered. Exotic leather in particular responds to heat, water and solvents — the care notes on each product page are there for a reason.

Yes. Exotic leather pieces can be returned to the atelier for repair or for a patina refresh — the same hands that made it, working on it again.

Yes. Every piece is produced in a capped run and never repeated. When a size sells out, it does not come back — and when a piece sells out, it is gone.

This is not a sales tactic. It is the consequence of how the pieces are made.

Ready-to-wear pieces cannot be reserved. Availability is live — what you see in the shop is what exists.

All crocodile and patina-finished leather pieces are made to order. Each is produced individually after your enquiry is reviewed and accepted; production times are stated on the product page.

A second email follows when your piece ships, with tracking. For made-to-order pieces, you hear from us when production is complete and the piece is ready to leave the atelier.
